I’ve spent several years in private practice working with clients dealing with addiction, anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, grief, Post-Traumatic Stress, relationship distress and Schizophrenia. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
The Gottman Method in couples therapy includes a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and integrates research-based interventions. I have advanced certifications working with trauma recovery: Trauma-Focused Cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention. And I am a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Much of my counseling is informed by my faith as a Christian and my belief that God loves people no matter their age, disability, gender, race or sexual orientation. I believe counseling is a partnership, which cannot be successful without your hard work, energy and courage.
