My name is Michele Merlob. I am licensed in Florida, Texas, California & Hawaii and have been working with clients since 1997. I believe in connecting with a client to assist them with achieving their goals for therapy. I work with 18+ individuals struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma & associated disorders. I typically work with clients 18 and older. My experience is eating disorders and associated disorders and issues. Additionally, life transitions, anxiety, depression & trauma.
I like to create a space for clients to utilize their session time for what they are needing during their time. Also, keeping in mind their goals & reasons for entering therapy. It is important for me to develop a healthy therapeutic relationship & challenge clients in a collaborative manner.
My bachelor’s degree is in criminal justice because I thought I wanted to be a lawyer to assist individuals who needed a voice. I decided to pursue a master's degree in psychology to truly work on a collaborative level with clients deeply desiring change & growth.
