As I embarked on my journey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I encountered individuals grappling with various challenges, from trauma and grief to addiction and mental illness. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for helping those struggling with sex addiction, compulsive sexual behaviors and betrayal trauma. I saw the profound impact it had on individuals, relationships, and families, and I felt compelled to offer specialized support in this area.
With 25 years of experience, I have honed my skills as a therapist, and trained with the International Institute of Trauma Professionals to obtain certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), learning to navigate the complexities of sex addiction and betrayal trauma with compassion, insight, and expertise.
My vision for the future is one where individuals affected by sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior and betrayal trauma are met with understanding, support, and hope. By promoting empathy and reducing stigma we can create a culture where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered on their journey toward recovery.
