In addition, we are making decisions based off our reality at that time. Meeting my clients where they are at is a value I will always uphold. Taking the step to seek counseling is one to be proud of, and I am looking forward to navigating the uncertainty of this process together!
My experience in this field varies from settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private practice and outpatient substance abuse facility with a large mental health component. During my five years in the I have worked with adolescents, 12 to 18, and adults into older age. A person in environment approach and empowerment is what I am all about!
Building self-awareness is key! By creating a supportive environment with an open-minded approach we can break down challenging emotions, experiences and past traumas that have been shifting our lives and decision making.
