It may feel overwhelming to reach out for help and to trust someone else with your thoughts and feelings, not to mention your past experiences and hopes and dreams for the future. I believe that the journey is more important than the destination since goals tend to be redefined through the learning that occurs in therapy.
I am a psychologist who works with older adolescents, adults, couples, and families through interpersonal, strength-based, and trauma-focused modalities. I have 18 years of experience in the field, and specialize in working with individuals and families in the LGBTQ+ communities, as well as with other helping professionals - including those who help animals.
I offer an empathic, comfortable space from which to begin exploring and expressing your true self, and eventually finding a path that is more meaningful and joyful. I am interested in both the physical and emotional well-being of my patients, and therefore take a holistic approach to this work.
