Many of my patients have considerable insight into their situation, but most find it difficult to change unproductive patterns, or "will" themselves into feeling better. You can break out of the circles of behavior that leave you feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. As a therapist, it is my job to help you gain awareness of unconscious roadblocks and help you tap into your natural ability to heal.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over fifteen years of experience and diverse training. I have an interactive style and will work with you to understand what is going on beneath the surface. This approach works very well for couples, as well as individuals.
Additional training: I have also completed ten years of rigorous post-masters training to become a Psychoanalyst and member of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP.org) and it's training institute. In addition to my patient practice, I teach, supervise and train newer therapists.
