Much of our lives are series of automatic reactions and habits. In between being in these autopilot modes, we can have moments of awareness something isn’t quite right or we envision our life differently. In our work together, I will utilize our relationship to help expand your awareness and move toward acceptance and deciding on an appropriate action. My role is to provide safety, security and honesty for you to use and explore what is most important in your life. One of my personal beliefs is that we all have the capacity to change and that we all are doing the best we can with the tools we have.
Therapy requires a great deal of effort and work on your part. I believe that you are capable of achieving serenity through processing your experiences and receiving honest empathy and feedback. One option to help process experiences I implement is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy
Creating a healthy and balanced life where you encounter peace on a daily basis does not come without tremendous effort, insight, and a network of people who support your goals. As part of this balanced life, I routinely implement mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) as a way to relate to your inner world in a more authentic way.
