With twenty years experience as a doctoral level clinical psychologist, I offer the highest proficiency in both long-term and short-term therapeutic approaches. I have provided psychotherapy to a broad spectrum of adults, children, adolescents, persons with various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and persons in the GLBT community with alternative life styles. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, intimacy and interpersonal issues, identity issues, ADHD, school related problems, PTSD, and midlife/early aging issues. My approach to working with clients utilizes an integrated approach of cognitive-behavioral interventions,
psychodynamic, solution focused, and feminist theory. As such, therapy sessions can vary for different people. Some people may prefer traditional talk therapy where they can process their thoughts and feelings, while others may want to work toward building and practicing coping skills in session. Some clients wish to explore maladaptive relationships pattern
while others may prefer to seek insight and awareness long term. I serve my patients in a discrete manner, with optimum treatment results as the primary priority. I perform comprehensive outpatient psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and adult patients. I also consult with patients who seek a second opinion evaluation.
