I have been a licensed psychologist for over 25 years. I know how important it is to have a therapist who will listen and not judge. My style is conversational, educational, and non-judgmental. My role is to help get you back on track. To help you find direction when you're feeling lost. Meeting a new therapist can be scary. Will he understand me? Will he be able to help me? I am a trained therapist, cognitive psychologist, clinical researcher, and Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I am certified in CBT, ACT, DBT, and IPT, which are empirically proven effective treatment methods. My research on depression, anxiety, and OCD has been reported worldwide, including on CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS.
Letting someone you barely know into your life is not easy. I certainly understand how uncomfortable this initial step can be.
