Hi, my name is Michael. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University with a focus in social work. I went on to obtain my Master’s Degree of Clinical Social Work from the University of South Florida while also serving in the United States Navy. I believe that people have the ability to be resilient, change, and overcome significant challenges with the right people and a supportive environment. My approach to therapy includes learning about the mind, body, and soul and how they work together to influence your ability to know yourself.
