My clinical approach is based on evidenced based practices which are combined with my years of living and insights this provides, my vast life experiences that enables me to develop understandings and compassion for the human experience, and to use theses skills to promote meaningful and helpful conversation with clients that focus on meeting the needs that brings people to therapy. In therapy, we use words to help define and clarify what brings people to therapy, to use these words to guide our development to clinical strategies, to then implement these strategies towards the goal of improvement,
and to assess the efficacy of our approach to determine if actual assistance and productivity is occurring. I consider my role as a therapist to be very special as it allows me to enter your life in your time of need and to assist your development of growth, competence, and happiness.
My life outside of the practice of psychotherapy is filled with interactions with my family and friends. I enjoy the process of interacting and sharing meaningful experiences and enjoying the company of others. This may include venturing to a nearby town and exploring, spending time at a friend's home, or remaining at home with family.
