There are always opportunities for a new start. My approach to therapy is interactive, evidence based, relational, & motivational. I believe that the quality of the relationship b/w the therapist & client is what is most healing. I also specialize in working w/ people struggling w/ addictions, substance/alcohol misuse, compulsive behaviors /sex & gambling , relationship issues, depression / anxiety disorders, insomnia, OCD, & burnout. I incorporate Mindfulness and Neuroscience into my work. 20 years of directorial experience working w/ people from diverse ethnic, religious, racial, other cultural / social groups, & LGBTQ+.
I strive to create a comfortable & supportive atmosphere where difficult issues can be addressed. I also help clients become more aware of the obstacles that hinder them from leading more satisfying lives and improving their relationships. Sometimes that may involve exploring past experiences and/or it may involve learning new concrete coping skills.
