My role is to help you gain clarity, reduce depression symptoms, and provide guidance. Over the past 25 years I have been blessed to have worked in various environments helping people get past their concerns, overcome their fears, and increase their functioning in life. I have worked with individuals, families, and groups, of all ages, suffering with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, aging complications, caregiver strain, relationship strain, and a host of other barriers. As far as I can remember, I was taught to listen, never judge, and help. I am passionate in helping you find a solution to live a productive life.

You're struggling! I hear you. Dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma can overtake your life. Being a woman in the world today can be wonderful and it can be oh so difficult as well. Whether it's relationship problems, a wound from the past, or job stress causing you to feel overwhelmed - functioning with mental health problems and trying to meet the "expectations" of society can tip you over the edge. Finding balance and relief from what you are going through has to happen, you can't continue living life in pain. You want to work through your challenges and you can succeed.

Did you know that trauma is stored in your body and mind? And it can lead to many other symptoms that you may be seeking therapy for right now, such as depression, anxiety and stress. I love helping people learn more about this and get reconnected with themselves in order to process and heal trauma. I'm drawn to somatic (body-based) approaches as well as getting to know the different parts of yourself and learning to accept them all. I also have many years of experience providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy.

For those times you feel alone, scared and unsure, it helps to have someone who can support and encourage you through difficult and challenging times. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to share the areas you are needing assistance and support in.

Each of us desires connection, and yet trauma and broken relationships between loved ones often get in the way - this brokenness can affect our closest relationships, and families suffer. Or, sometimes you may feel like you don’t really know or love yourself as well as you think you should. These questions, desires, and fears are part of the human experience, and part of my own life experience.
