Our founder was selected prestigiously as a University of Michigan field faculty instructor. We are a Mental Health Therapy office. Our founder has a Master's Degree from the number one school in clinical social work in the United States of America; the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and was clinically trained as a social worker psychotherapist by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System, where she also conducted research on a variety of mental health issues and continue to work with communities and groups of diverse backgrounds.

We offer counseling services for teens (aged 12 and up), young adults, adults, and older adults. We do have evening availability. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I use Bowen & Gestalt therapy techniques combined with person-centered therapy strength-based with couples, families, reunifications, individuals, groups, and athletes. The therapeutic focus is to help individuals heal, energize, focus, become aware of their inner strengths, and remove mental blockers. Marriage and family therapists treat a wide range of serious clinical problems, including anxiety, depression, marital problems, individual psychological problems, and child-parent conflict. The unit of treatment is based on the set of relationships in which the person is embedded.

I began my career running group therapy sessions for all age groups and a wide array of populations dealing with diverse presenting problems ranging from substance abuse and trauma to personality and eating disorders. My background in psychotherapy, neuropsychology, and applied behavioral analysis provides clients with a strong foundation of skills and a great ability to adapt to each client’s specific needs.

I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Personality Disorders and OTHER mental health concerns. Adolescents and children who struggle with bullies or just find school as difficult. I also work with adolescents and adults with substance abuse concerns, addiction, and I also perform crisis intervention.

My ideal client are young males ages 6-18, and married men who want to be better husbands and fathers. Growing up in households without male role models often has boys/men needing guidance. Without guidance can lead to current and future family dysfunction leading to divorce, duplicating fatherless homes, and making bad choices in life. I UNDERSTAND what it is like to have that "absent father void". I also understand what it is like to be a husband trying his best to become "that good father and husband" to his wife.
