I was born and raised in the Golden State of California, spent some years in the rainy Pacific Northwest where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from Portland State University, and ended up in Michigan where I earned her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I pride myself on my compassion, humor, and curiosity which drives my interpersonal practice. I worked in the field of Veterinary Medicine for over ten years where I gained a deep understanding and passion for the human-animal bond, inspiring me to pursue a career in Social Work.
