Hello, I specialize in grief counseling- processing it, holding it and understanding your unique experience and how you can grow/live with it. I myself experienced a traumatic death at 13 years old and have walked beside folks since. I focus on helping understand how you grieve as an individual, and what you may need to hold space for your grief. I also specialize in working with young people. Supporting them in seeing, strengthening and engaging with their best self. I was a school counselor for 10 years and very much enjoy working with families while building internal and external relationships with love and accountability.

Charles Pearlstein Lmsw Acsw is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Michigan. He has been practicing since 1989. He received both his Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees in Clinical Social Work from Wayne State University School of Social Work in Detroit , MI. He also has training from The Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute in Farmington Hills and other post Graduate training as well. Charles believes in a treatment philosophy that encompasses the whole individual. He uses both Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic therapy approaches. Charles works with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
