That's when I knew that being a counselor was exactly what I wanted to do. I want to be there to support you. Being a therapist is not my job, it's my calling.

I am a fully licensed professional counselor who specializes in areas related to child and adolescent issues, emerging adults (18-35), and parenting support. My approach is strength-based and client-centered. I enjoy listening and providing support to my client's, helping them adapt new styles of thinking, develop healthy coping skills, gain effective problem-solving strategies, achieve new goals and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves.

My vision began several years ago when I realized that most counseling agencies tend to concentrate on only one aspect of wellbeing, "Mental Health". Many people seeking whole body wellness are forced to travel to multiple providers to gain the full experience. Why not have one agency that meets the multiple aspect in achieving the "Whole Body Wellness" concept? I truly believe that maximizing personal wellbeing is dependent on the emotional, physical and spiritual health of every individual. I am proud to provide the surrounding community with a comprehensive clinic that addresses whole body wellness.

As a therapist, I'm deeply committed to assisting individuals and families in navigating life's complexities. With expertise in working with diverse groups, I customize my approach to suit each client's specific requirements. My philosophy centers on the idea that every individual's journey is unique, necessitating a tailored therapeutic approach. I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic models to create a safe and supportive environment. My goal is to find the most effective therapeutic modality for each client, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

In every person, we have our hopes and dreams, fears and stressors, and anything else life wants to throw at us. We have the tools and strength within us, but sometimes it's hard to know where to start on our own. I believe we are all capable of healing ourselves by processing our deepest pains and celebrating our biggest victories together. In this therapeutic experience, we will collaborate with your life experience(s) and my professional training to support you on your journey towards yourself. My specialty is working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

I have extensive training and years of experience that have helped me build diverse skills and strategies to help you meet your goals. I am experienced in treating a wide array of problems from family problems, depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder to addictions and trauma.

I have been a Christian Family Therapist since 1989. Therapy at RHCC is focused in Christian beliefs and is Bible based. I believe strongly in the Christian convictions I was raised in and hope to share these with the people I work with in my office. Renewed Hope offers: individual, marital, and family sessions. I am a licensed Master Social Worker. I am affiliated with the American Association of Christian Counselors and Focus on the Family. I truly believe in the ability to improve our lives and families as we make God our anchor.

Life challenges can be overwhelming at times. I strive to assist individuals, couples and families in achieving emotionally healthy lives and reaching their specific life goals. I have a master degree in social work with a post graduate in Marriage and Couples therapy and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and I am trained in EMDR. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting, substance use and adjustment struggles. I have clinical interests in cognitive behavioral, EMDR, mindfulness, animal-assisted, creative and art approached therapy.

Accepting new clients! The human experience of healing is as unique as everyone; therefore, I integrate healing techniques that target a spectrum of emotional distress and mental conditions. Rather than referring to a general template, I curate holistic treatment plans to meet the client's therapeutic goals. I incorporate an integrative theoretical approach that borrows from various counseling strategies.

I implement a straight- forward holistic approach to care, while maintaining a nurturing, non-judgmental, and empathetic therapeutic environment. I believe achieving a greater level of wellness and fulfillment through self-awareness and acceptance helps to contribute to individual and relational growth, along with positively impacting the creation of a happy, healthy lifestyle. Further, I bring real-life experiences coupled with professional knowledge and expertise into the clinical setting, which helps to create a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients.

Persons that I work with have come to expect teamwork and solution-oriented sessions. The goals/outcomes, within a collaborative and affirming atmosphere, are based on meeting a person where they are and what they need.
