I am a National Board-Certified Counselor who has extensive training and experience working with men, women, and couples. As a CSAT I specialize in helping individuals and couples recover from sex/pornography addiction. As a CCPS, I specialize in helping partners heal from partner betrayal trauma. As a Gottman marriage therapist, I specialize in helping couples address the issues that keep them stuck. I can help couples move past the arguments and hurts so that they can rebuild their marriage in healthy ways. I have been a marriage and family therapist for over 24 years. With a Master in Divinity, a concentration in Pastoral Counseling, and a PhD in Theology, a concentration in Faith Based Marriage and Family counseling. Having experience in two sides of the counseling field thus far, my history includes working in a jail and substance use rehab with addiction struggles, heightened mental health diagnoses, and high-severity felony offenders, as well as alternatively having experience in education and foster settings with Pre-K through 12th grade school-age children and adolescents. Additionally, my focus is on working with LGBTQ+ individuals and families. This is to say, I work to ensure a judgment-free environment, and the achievement of success for a client as they define it.

In addition to providing therapy, I am a professor at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, in both the Justice and Public Policy and Psychology departments.

Hi my name is Dr. Andrea Morrison. I have over 20 years experience helping people with a multitude of concerns and worries. I have been a Licensed Psychologist for 17 years first with my masters then obtaining my Doctorate. When you are filling out a checkbox for what you are looking for in a therapist or a client it is ironic to me. I have always been person-centered with a solution-focused approach. My main approach is CBT but EACH person is unique in their needs. I meet them where they are, learn where they want to be and tailor the treatment goals in that manner.
