I have experience working with ages 4 - 75 years old. I have a passion for the minority communities especially the third culture population with issues such as culture shock and assimilation.

I strive to use the therapeutic techniques most compatible with the client’s characteristics and needs. I have extensive theoretical training and practical experience in psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapy, humanistic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, and dialectic behavior therapy, and I can work effectively using a short term, more focused approach, as well as an open ended, exploratory approach.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages - from young children thru to seniors. My areas of focus include Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Bullying, Depression, Grief, Personality Challenges, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Alcohol and Drug Abuse. I received my early education in private parochial schools in India, and obtained a Masters in Child Development and Family Relationships. I taught undergraduate students in my university before moving to the U.S. where I obtained my Masters in Education. Following my desire to help others, I attended Wayne State University where I obtained my Masters in Clinical Social Work.

I believe one is the driver and they control how they want to live;however, I understand often times family, bullying, substances, depression, past trauma, anxiety, relationships, raising children, career/employment, financial, and personal struggles can be obstacles.My objective is to work with you in being aware and in creating solutions, which can counterattack these obstacles.
