Relationships play an important role in our everyday lives. When relationships get off track, it can be so overwhelming. As such, I work with individuals, couples, and families to help heal the hurts and the pain of relational dynamics as well as trauma.

Because of my professional experiences as an educator, administrator, and mental health counselor; I have a broad perspective appropriate for children, adolescents, adults, and couples encountering transitions and life challenges. As a certified trauma therapist, therapy sessions are client-centered, meaning that the needs of the client are first priority and my goal is to provide guidance and support for my clients to be able to address their specific needs in a safe and comfortable environment to experience growth in their personal life and mental health healing.

I work with adults, adolescents, couples, families, and children. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches uniquely catered to each client and based on a treatment plan that we develop together. I do not believe that each therapist is automatically the best person for every client that walks through their door, but that the client needs to "click" with the therapist they work with so they have room to do the work they need to do. The possibility for change is powerful and the therapeutic process is often a catalyst and a supportive environment for change.

We have a diverse staffing model with 6 licensed female professional counselors, 3 licensed female master social workers and 3 male professional counselors that provide mental health treatment. At APC we offer outpatient counseling for children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinicians provide individual, couple and family counseling. Our core belief at APC is that mental health counseling is part of recognizing the whole person, taking into account family, social, physical and medical factors.
