Hello. Welcome !! I am excited to work for you and your family. I have been a therapist for 14 years , working with families and individuals to help them reach their full potential. I am multilingual and have worked with clients from various parts of the world and religious backgrounds. I work with families, individuals and children from ages 8 and above specializing in depression and anxiety, childhood trauma, emotional regulation and anger related issues, learning disorders , personality and mood disorders and parenting skills. Tweens, teens, college students, individuals and families. Parental participation for younger ones.

I believe that peace and quality of life is achieved by working in reverse. That is, going inward to rediscover the divinity that rests in you. My objective is to encourage clients to use their strengths and resources to recognize their inner wisdom, thus allowing them to become their authentic self. Working together, we can identify barriers to wellbeing, explore solutions that empower, and expand awareness.

My ultimate goal as your therapist is to provide a safe space for you to set you and your needs as a priority – a space that is judgment-free to help you work through healing what you choose to, and to help you sustain hope through the process. Beginning therapy can be a scary process, but I invite you to be brave and take that first step. In my journey to becoming a counselor, I am struck by the profound intertwining of spiritual growth and emotional healing. Inspired by both my personal walk and the transformative power of therapy, I have committed myself to serve as a vessel — blending evidence-based therapeutic practices with redemptive grace and wisdom of Scripture.

Whether dealing with the effects of trauma, a loss, struggling with anxiety or depression, or coping with a life transition, it can help to explore concerns in a safe and supportive environment. I believe that a therapist’s role is to be a listening ear, provide feedback, offer support, and provide resources as clients explore their concerns, identify solutions, and develop plans of action that best fit their chosen life journeys.

Owner operator, Jaynaya James holds a Masters Degree in Social Work and is also a Master Reiki Therapist and Advanced Level Intergrated Energy Therapist (IET). As you know there are several places in the area that provide mental health services, but this organization uses holistic methods in addition to traditional therapeutic modalities. Such as Reiki, IET sound and crystal healing along with aromatherapy. These therapies in addition to traditional modalities allow clients to heal on another level.

I believe that all clients come to counseling with a personal story that includes important relationships, significant events, and beliefs about themselves and the world. Counseling involves understanding how our stories shape the way we view ourselves, approach challenges, and relate to others. I feel privileged to listen to clients’ stories and help them work towards their own goals for wellness and change.

I believe that resilience is in all of us and healing is a path we can choose to walk at any time if we are willing to take the first step. Sometimes even helping professionals need their own helper, someone to listen to their experiences and walk alongside them as they process the challenges of helping. Focusing on secondary traumatic stress and occupational stress issues I believe my role as a therapist is to support clients as they navigate their healing process.

Hello my name is Hannah Duran and I am a fully licensed clinician with a Master of Social Work degree from Spring Arbor University. I have worked with various populations ranging from those in the school setting, juvenile detention center, community mental health and a non profit organization helping women recovering from substance abuse, trafficking, domestic violence and sexual trauma. I also have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, stress, trauma, low self esteem and relationship issues.

Our goal in life is to be loved. We are remembered for how we make people feel. My goal as a therapist is to help families, couples and individuals with communication, coping and relationship skills to create a life that is this as loving and connected as possible. I have specialized in substance abuse for years. This has given me insight into abandonment issues, the need to escape to create emotional distance in relationships and how these types of patterns play out in relationships. My strengths are helping people to reconnect to their purpose in life and finding meaning in the relationships in their lives and rebuilding trust.

I have a passion for working with young adults, women and men with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, and secondary or vicarious trauma for those working in high stress fields. My hope as a therapist is to assist individuals as they continue to write their own stories, through a holistic and empowerment-based approach.

When developing a counseling relationship my clients, I often take time to get to know them and focus on what is important to them. As we journey together we often discover the root of their concerns which eventually leads to true and lasting healing.
