In the last 23 years, she has worked in outpatient settings, specializing in the treatment of mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, as well as relationship issues. She received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2008 and has been using that as an effective tool to process trauma.
