Dr. Del Rio is a fully licensed psychotherapist. After receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and clinical social work from MSU, she attended ULM and received her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Post her doctorate, she obtained her Sex Therapy certificate from the University of Michigan. Her educational path has provided a unique recipe of both micro and macro perspectives and has informed her clinical interpretations. She specializes in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relationships. She utilizes evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies.

I utilize a HIPPA supported tele-health platform. Each allows clients to engage in secure and confidential telehealth appointments. Clients are granted access to private tele-mental health sessions while remaining inside the security and comfort of your home, or perhaps during the office lunch break. I offer weekday sessions, as well as limited evening and weekend appointments.

Amber Norwood, LMSW-C has a broad range of clinical experiences including the areas of domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health, trauma, parenting and relational struggles. She has completed internships at Vera House, Inc and Family Services and Children's Aid. She has been an affiliate professor of Social Work at Spring Arbor University since 2010. She has work experiences at AWARE, Inc as the Child and Family Advocate, at Highfields, Inc. as a Home-based therapist/Outreach counselor, and at A Healing Place, LLC. She currently owns and operates Waves of Change, LLC, a private practice in Jackson, MI.
