I am a Limited License Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Development Plan. I can relate to the trials and tribulations of being a single parent, as I was one myself. I am a caring, empathetic, compassionate listener that is non-judgmental, who listens to what you say. I believe every individual deserves therapy sessions specifically designed for that individual only. I try to keep sessions fresh, exciting, fun, while yet informative.

With extensive experience aiding adolescents, families, couples, and more, Demetri specializes in a strengths-based approach, highlighting personal strengths and addressing areas for growth. Through active listening and tailored goal-setting, Demetri aims to facilitate authentic and free-flowing therapy sessions. Demetri earned his Masters Degree in Social work from Michigan State University.

Our provider specialties include working with grief, depression, anxiety, sexual health, trauma, relationship distress, school-age concerns, BIPOC specific concerns, LGBTQ+ wellness, assessments, transgenerational trauma, and life transitions.

I am currently taking new clients for in-person and virtual services! My experience in the mental health field so far has allowed me to help people struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem/self-worth, body issues, gender and sexuality, anger management, family conflicts, and relationship issues. My passion for this field has helped improve my commitment, focus, inclusivity, and empathy to best help those seeking therapy services.

With over 23 years Social Work experience dealing with kids and adults who are battling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues my qualifications and approach to healing are available to you or your loved ones. I can help with coping skills, referrals and other needs identified.

Our clients are the reason we are in business and their care starts with the first phone call. When you call you will be greeted by either Dina or Sue, they will complete a small intake process and from there you will have some paperwork to complete. Our scheduling turnaround time after paperwork is completed is about 5 days. We care that you are receiving the care you need when you need it.

Being a therapist since 2016, and in the field of social work since 2013 I understand the strength it takes to take those first steps to becoming your best self. Graduating with my masters in social work from Wayne State University I have experience working with all age groups.
