My goal, with my clients is to improve their overall quality of life. This incudes the removal of debilitating symptoms like depression, anxiety stress, and obsessions.. But is also means achieving positive goals such as life satisfaction, curiosity, creativity, open-mindedness, and the relational capacity for love. To function as a complete person we must cultivate health in body, mind and spirit. Through empathic eyes i see the great potential in those I work with, and form a caring partnership to ignite their possibilities. I see myself as therapist, teacher and coach.

My role as a psychologist is to help people solve problems that are interfering with their daily lives. Through counseling, I help you assess your strengths and develop your optimal potential. I help you clarify your current problems and then discover ways to best cope with them. And I assist you in changing self-defeating behaviors and making positive choices. In addition, mindfulness based stress reduction is a great tool for people who are feeling overwhelmed.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! I'm an LMSW therapist in private practice. I love partnering with kids, teens, and young adults, blending professionalism and evidenced-based treatment modalities with empathy, patience, and a dash of humor to increase client resiliency/symptom management. I believe therapy doesn't always have to be so traditional, rather, tailored to your individual style, preferences, and needs. There is more to therapy than the big comfy couch (although it is a plus)! Together we'll build a safe space for you to come as you are, be met where you're at, and learn to navigate and make sense of life's challenges.

This constant anxiety, followed by crippling bouts of depression, is preventing you from living your life. Even on good days, your negative self-talk beats you into a sleepy paralysis. Everyone can be hard on themselves, but your mind has become downright violent. It’s exhausting trying to anticipate when it will strike next. You can’t trust your own thoughts. It’s obvious that your painful past isn’t going away on its own. It takes all you’ve got to get through the day. And most days it takes more than that. Stuck in a vicious cycle with no end in sight, you know you can’t handle this alone anymore. But what choice do you have?

Sometimes we need help. Often, when we are experiencing immense suffering, a lack mentality can accompany such overpowering sensations. We can feel like a shell of who we once were, not knowing when or how we will ever begin to overcome the dense reality of our current state of being. It can be an extremely lonely journey, but it does not have to be.

You are whole and worthy of creating and living a beautiful life however, sometimes it is challenging to move in the day to day. You are ready to regain your control and no longer desire to feel consumed with what is holding you back. Learning to accept and love yourself as a flawed human, is an integral part of growth and development, allowing for a transformative life. You may have found yourself in a cycle of patterns of circumstances which keep showing up in your life. You need to make hard choices. You hold onto your emotions and can feel them stirring inside of you. What does relief feel like for you? Carving out time to work

You spend the majority of your days just going through the motions in your life; feeling disconnected, unmotivated, or unfulfilled at work, at home, or in your relationships. You watch time pass and wish that you could have a life filled with more peace, fulfillment, joy or security...but you don’t know where to start. To the outside world, your life might appear to be okay, but for you, something just doesn’t feel right. You push yourself to do better, be better, but inside, you battle with a voice in your head that tells you it's not enough. At times, you feel like you’re barely holding it all together.

You frequently hear euphemisms such as "don't work so much," "make time for rest and relaxation" and "don't sweat the small stuff." All of these statements are positive and beneficial in their intent however, implementing them into your daily life can often be challenging. Your work, parental responsibilities or everyday obligations may feel overwhelming and overbearing. Fitting in time with friends and family, getting in that workout and other needed self care can be difficult to accomplish. You are at a point where you are ready to make life adjustments, however, may feel uncertain where to begin.

Welcome! I specialize in working with adult children of (and/or partners to) narcissists and the emotionally immature/abusive/unavailable. My clients say they’re relieved to have found a therapist who "gets" them. I am ready to "get" and care for you, too. Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, self-doubt/blame, shame, guilt, a sense of obligation? Are you an expert "people pleaser" because you had to be? Did you receive attention, love, acceptance based on certain conditions? Did you experience controlling behavior and/or inconsistency/instability that felt unsafe? Is it hard to advocate for yourself? I get it.
