I also offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning opportunities for individuals and groups. I specialize in helping people identify their strengths and unhelpful thought patterns to find solutions to their problems. Equine assisted work is a great option for people not interested in traditional therapy and others who have not been "successful" in other therapy settings. In addition to psychotherapy, we offer several group opportunities for children, adolescents, and adults.

I have over fourteen years of clinical experience initially in a hospital setting so I have a special passion for all things medical, I transitioned into private practice and fell in love with helping clients achieve their best quality of life. In session, I utilize EMDR and find it a huge asset to a client’s healing journey. I also will use a collaborative approach borrowing from several different therapy modalities Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strength-based counseling, solution focused therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) routinely in sessions. Dr. Mark Bowers is a Pediatric Psychologist in Brighton, MI. He is clinical director of the Brighton Center. He has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families for over 25 years. He specializes in neurodevelopmental diagnoses (i.e., Autism Spectrum, Asperger's, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance, and Learning Difficulties. Dr. Bowers is Neurodiversity-Affirming. He developed an app (www.mysosh.com) to help children improve their social skills that has been downloaded in over 60 countries and is being used in elementary/high schools and colleges across the US.

Nina (she/her/hers) is a school psychologist and currently a PhD student in counseling psychology at Wayne State University. She received her Masters from Wayne State University in School & Community Psychology. She specializes in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, as well eating disorders. She treats eating disorders with a Health at Every Size viewpoint to foster a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming setting. Nina utilizes many different therapeutic approaches to fit the needs of her clients, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
