My name is Marj Tursak and I have a Masters Degree in Counseling from Siena Heights University. I have been working with adults and adolescents for 28 years. My intention is to utilize whatever modality of therapy is helpful to my client, but I have a special interest in providing Ecotherapy. Another speciality is cognitive behavioral therapy, because we know that in many cases our thoughts cause our emotions, and we must address our thinking. For 40 years I have provided counseling for individuals with a wide variety of mental health and addiction related problems. Counseling sessions may be with individuals, couples or a family group. When a client and I initially meet, we consider together the situations and concerns which have led them to counseling. Treatment continues as a collaborative effort to work beyond just temporary solutions to making changes that last.
