I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, and life adjustments.
Sometimes life brings challenges that leave us standing in need of additional support. You may find yourself surviving anxiety, hurt in relationship, grieved by loss, or trying to find footing in a life transition. You may desire a safe space to lament, to ask questions, to learn, and to build upon your strengths. I will partner with you, as you work to understand and address the challenges before you.

I utilize aspects from numerous tools and approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy for adults and Play Therapy for children, to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your goals.
Circumstances are building and you fear that its weight will eventually grow to crush and consume you. You have so much to manage and yet you long to just let go of it all. You’re ready for a change, but it is terrifying. To face it may cause you to crumble, nevertheless, you will yourself to get through each day. If this sounds familiar and you wish to do more than get by, it is possible to flourish again. I aim to create a safe and empowering environment built upon a trusting therapeutic relationship so you can successfully heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and work toward thriving in your daily life.

Life can be challenging and difficult to navigate, especially without support. During the therapeutic process, I look at how our environment, life experience, and current relationships have an impact on the decisions we make. I work with adults and young adults individually and in couples from all walks of life and belief systems who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, personality disorders, adjustment issues, anger management, relationship issues, and more by using evidenced-based approaches and interventions/techniques.

Your mental health matters! I'm here to help! Taking the next step can be intimidating and difficult, but a different perspective may help you create balance and a renewed sense of stability. It is my intention to help you expand your life beyond the “couch,” where even the smallest of adjustments can make a huge impact. One of the most crucial parts of the therapeutic process is connection. I approach each session with warmth and an empathetic, listening ear to provide you a space where you feel heard, understood, and hopeful for your future.

I see adolescents and adults for therapy.
Therapy is an invitation to begin where you are, just as you are. My first goal is to listen well and to begin to understand what it feels like to be you. While my training includes many therapeutic approaches informed by research, I see therapy most of all as a creative process that unfolds within a genuine relationship. I believe that good therapy is flexible and responsive - it can be gentle and compassionate, serious and tough, and sometimes even very funny.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults who may be experiencing changes, or just need someone to talk to.
We all know that life is full of messiness, but what if we didn’t have to hold it together; what if we didn’t show a version of ourselves or wear a façade; what if we could be honest about our experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Sometimes it’s hard to find places to allow our chaos, confusion, and pain to come out of hiding and be seen. My hope is that you find comfort and safety to allow the mess to show up. I believe therapy offers us the invitation to do something different — to choose a new way. Thank you for making the choice to seek help. I know how hard it can be and would be honored to be a part of this next step.

Have you experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use concerns? Do you recognize struggles with self worth, or feeling like you can't stay grounded or present in your everyday life? These can be very difficult problems to navigate, and therapy can help. I believe healing takes place through our relationships with others, and I provide a judgement free safe space to help this happen. I love to work with adolescents (16+) and adults on their own healing journey and guide you in finding your own strength in the process.

I have experience and interest working with adults of any age and specialized knowledge helping individuals successfully navigate the difficulties and developmental challenges of late adolescence and early adulthood.
People often seek therapy following life changes where customary ways of coping are no longer sufficient to meet the demands of their world. I consider the focus of my work as a therapist the development of a safe and trusting relationship where I can help a person discuss difficult feelings as well as identify problematic interpersonal patterns that may be getting in the way of personal goals and successful relationships. I then work closely and collaboratively with my client to develop creative and effective ways to move past these roadblocks.
