I have been in the Mental Health field, for 23 years & I have spent most of that in a clinic. My passion has been to do Private Counseling & started, in April. i feel I have a lot of experience to offer, but even more, I love what I do & feel confident that shows in my interactions, with Clients. My specialties are, Trauma/Abuse, First Responders, Mood Disruptive Disorders, Anxiety/Stress/Panic & Grief & Loss. I work with individual Treatment Plans, for individual needs. I, always ask Clients why they feel they are sitting with me & what they expect, from our working together. I am Goal oriented & discuss Goals & resources.
I feel the best help I can offer, is to be forthcoming, available & on time, as Client's need & want continuity of services
It is difficult to see someone, you really don't know, except for what you read about them. I always to keep in my head, just how difficult the first contact is and let the Client start, with their story. Then after, ask for any clarification that will help with my developing their treatment Plan.
