I have worked in the social work field for approximately 25 years. I received my Master of Social Work degree from New York University in 1996 and received a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in 2014. I believe in helping clients work through their everyday challenges in their lives, using a variety of treatment modalities in a non-judgmental, supportive, and comfortable environment. These modalities include, but are not limited to insight oriented, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
Some of the areas in which I have experience include depression, anxiety, relationship issues and parenting. My style is to engage clients through attentive listening and interactive discussion. Using age-appropriate techniques, I work with clients to develop coping skills, obtain relief from symptoms, and help them reach their full potential.
