Are you feeling overwhelmed, lost, anxious? As your therapist, I will support you when challenges such as anxiety, relationships, parenting, trauma, addictions, low self esteem or transitions keep you from living your very best life. I will work collaboratively with you to gain insight into why you feel the way you do and to assist in the development of adaptive coping skills so you can experience more hope, confidence and balance in your life. My top priority is to create a nonjudgmental space where you will feel understood and validated. The majority of my clients are women who are working to find their voice and purpose.
Most of my training was in an Acute Care Substance Abuse hospital. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a modality used for trauma and anxiety. I also have extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems theory, addictions recovery treatment, dealing with narcissistic personality disorder
I offer a complementary 10 minute pre consult to enable clients to get to know me and determine if I am a good fit. My goal is to help clients work through their concerns so that they can find more joy and happiness. Clients often tell me that they feel less stress after our first session.
