Traumatic experiences can leave us feeling disempowered, dysregulated, and profoundly disconnected from our passions, our loved ones, and even ourselves. Inherently resilient and adaptable beings, we find ways to cope after a trauma - we mask our emotions, numb our pain, and we keep going. As a trauma therapist, my job is to help trauma survivors move beyond this state of coping and surviving to a place of lasting healing by supporting them in cultivating a sense of safety, making sense of their experience, and connecting to their essential selves.

My practice is rooted in the principles of self-compassion, non-judgment, and self-determination. My approach eclectic, client-centered, and experiential, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities including mindfulness & yoga, somatic therapies, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

As a trauma survivor myself, I understand how overwhelming the prospect of starting therapy can be - therapy, especially trauma therapy, is hard work. But it is worth it, and so are you.
