Hello there! My name is Melvin, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I am a straight-up type of therapist and will not beat around the bush on issues. Are you overwhelmed or struggling with life, work, or health issues? I understand that we all have times in our lives when we could benefit from counseling. The hardest part is asking for help with everything in your life.
I have over ten years of experience working with many clients of many different cultural diversities and concerns. I have experience with the following clients: HIV-positive, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, substance use disorders, addiction issues, recently incarcerated, first responders, veterans, and military spouses.
As a counselor, I will meet you where you are in life and walk with you through your issues, concerns, and struggles. There may be times when you feel lost and confused.
