On the surface you flash a smile, get things taken care of, and seem fine. But deep inside you know you haven't been able to address unexpected life events from the past, and now it's showing. The quality of your relationships is taking a hit; maybe it's school or work that feel way more daunting than ever. As a result, you're starting to feel exhausted, stuck, flirting with burnout, and lost as to how to get a hold of this. What you really need is a non-judgmental space where you can unpack those past events with someone who gets it, so you can find your sense of direction again and reconnect with yourself and others.
With 15+ years of experience as therapist, I specialize in working with young adults impacted by the effects of trauma. I use EMDR therapy to change beliefs that are holding you back, and to heal the painful memories stored so that you can show up authentically for the life you deserve. For this work, I tend to bring humor, warmth safety, and compassion.
Let's face it: most struggle to practice self-care. Life has its demands and everyone's needs come before yours. Allow therapy to be your "me" time to sip your coffee uninterrupted, focus on your needs, and have your story be heard. Call or email me to see if we could be a good fit. I look forward to partnering with you in your next chapter.
