Accepting new clients. I provide EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based solutions grounded in a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to therapy. I specialize in working with partners of alcoholics, and relatives and friends who love a person struggling with substance use. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, burnout (the professional kind, and also the marital/relationship and parenting kind), grief and overwhelm, and issues specifically related to the female experience, including infertility, IVF, perinatal and postpartum concerns, and hormone-related mood changes.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer a safe, compassionate space for all folks ready to make a change. In our work, you’ll experience a supportive and active approach to therapy, learning tools to put into action in your everyday life and make meaningful change quickly. I am warm, skilled, and I’ve “been there” and done my own work.
Therapy can help you develop more loving, trusting, and satisfying relationships. It can help you regain confidence, feel less alone and more hopeful about the future. If you want to be stronger and lighter at heart, more confident, more relaxed, less depressed, and less angry, therapy can help. Building a happy life takes time, but it is possible.
