Hi, I'm Melodi, owner of Maryland Virtual Therapy, LLC. I know how difficult it can be to reach out to a therapist — I've been there! With a decade of experience in the mental health field, I've cultivated an approach that just might work for you. It's all about connection. Connection between therapist and client, connection between mind and body, connection between your authentic Self and all of the various ways in which you show up in the world. I have completed Internal Family Systems Level 1 training and love incorporating IFS into my work with clients. IFS is a holistic and evidence-based approach to healing.
A little bit about me: I love dancing like nobody's watching, listening to podcasts, and discovering new hiking trails. My dog Bear loves being outside too. (Check out my website for a picture!) You might see him make an appearance during our virtual sessions! I have a special interest in providing therapy to young adult women.
