Melissa works with families with young children whose lives are impacted by trauma, abuse, and complicated grief. She also works with individual clients of all ages to help them recognize how present behavior is shaped by past experiences and worries about the future. Melissa provides Reflective Consultation to other counseling professionals and was endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist with the Oklahoma Association of Infant Mental Health (OKAIMH).
Melissa is trained to provide EMDR therapy as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy. Melissa has specialized training to provide Reflective Supervision and Consultation to other clinicians and specialized training in Infant Mental Health.
