I have experience in a variety of settings including inpatient treatment programs for substance abuse and mental health, day treatment, and community mental health programs. I have worked for over 20 years in the public school system with children/adolescents and their teachers and parents, assisting with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, ADHD, learning disabilities, and school underachievement.
My priority is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental place for clients of all backgrounds and identities in order to promote growth and healing. I use a client-centered approach and incorporate a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and interpersonal psychotherapy.
