Hello! :) My name is Melissa Rebollar, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in the state of California. I attended Marymount California University and received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology; then went on to complete my Master's degree in Counseling at Cal State Long Beach (Go Beach!) I've gained an abundance of experience working in multiple settings, including psychiatric hospitals, public schools, non-profit organizations, and county-funded programs, all of which had diverse populations and various diagnoses.
When in treatment, I enjoy using a strength-based approach to help clients restore their balance and well-being. I can provide my clients guidance through my knowledge of cognitive and solution-focused modalities while remaining collaborative and mindful of individuality, culture, and background because everyone is unique.
I also enjoy using an eclectic approach with my clients, allowing for more fluid and personalized treatment. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing therapeutic experience to clients so that they can improve their functioning and gain a healthier lifestyle.
