Is your family going through a challenging legal situation that is affecting you and your children? Are you dealing with painful dynamics related to divorce, custody dispute, or parental alienation? Many therapists avoid potential court involvement at any cost, but not me! I am a forensic child and adolescent psychologist. This means that not only am I very well-trained in helping kids, adolescents and their families with a range of mental health concerns but also that I am completely comfortable meeting with attorneys/mediators and even going to court if you need me to testify. The legal stuff won't interfere with me helping YOU.
I help families cope with the challenges of adjusting to divorce and changing family dynamics. I use evidence-based treatments to reduce anxiety and sadness, process complicated emotions, and guide you to parenting well through a family crisis. I offer forensic psychological assessments, court-mandated treatment, expert witness testimony, and custody evals.
I know that the legal system is scary and families would like to avoid these stressors at all costs. Let me help and support you inside and outside of the court room. As part of the Thriving Child Center team, I can work with you in in-person at River Oaks, The Woodlands, or virtually.
