I can help parents help their children (ages 0-6) dealing with divorce, loss of a loved one, exposure to violence or medical trauma, feel safe and secure so they stop acting out. I also help interracial/cross cultural couples increase their sense of belonging through intimacy and connection using Emotion Focused Therapy.
My approach is rooted in the belief that we are hard-wired to bond with loved ones, which, when disrupted, leads to coping that can sometimes be helpful and sometimes harmful. I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental setting to help people recognize and shift dysfunctional patterns to fully realize their potential.
