Navigating the waters of fertility challenges, pregnancy, birth, and being a new parent can be hard. Navigating the aftermath of past traumas in your body and nervous system can be isolating, exhausting, and soul-crushing. And sometimes those landscapes are one and the same. Past traumas resurface during fertility treatment, pregnancy or postpartum. Or new ones emerge with a traumatic birth or with feeling overwhelmed by parenting. But you’re not alone in this journey. I offer somatic psychotherapy for mothers, families and others who are looking for a whole person approach for resolving life's struggles.
As a perinatal specialist, I work primarily with women and their families to help them create a more satisfying, joyful and equitable family life. And as a highly trained trauma expert, my skills as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner allow me to use a nervous-system based approach to helping clients resolve and integrate past traumatic experiences.
