I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, specializing in addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders. I hold an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Houston, supplemented by an MBA from the University of Houston Downtown. With six years as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I have developed expertise in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, and DBT, working with individuals affected by trauma, grief, legal issues, bipolar disorder, ADHD, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
I take an empathetic approach which empowers clients to discover their strengths, fostering growth and change. I provide individualized care in a safe and supportive environment for those navigating mental health challenges, chemical and process addictions, as well as individuals who need a safe and supportive therapist to discuss life’s challenges with.
I am a native Houstonian and aside from work, I loves spending time with my family and friends and my Siberian cat, Jerome. My hobbies include cooking and baking, traveling, shopping, reading, and checking out new restaurants.
