My philosophy is that therapy is a safe place where one can focus on self exploration, reflection and growth in a supportive, non-judgmental space. I help my clients gain insight into their patterns of behavior and provide them with coping skills to manage life's struggles. I work primarily with adolescent and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief/loss, identity issues, and other daily stressors.
I primarily integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice as well as psychodynamic therapy. I have worked as a social worker in middle schools as well as hospitals providing individual and group therapy and have been an outpatient individual therapist for over 15 years. I also have post-Masters training from NYU in Palliative care.
