I love to help others. It has been my passion ever since I was a teenager. I want to be a positive support and teach others how to be the best version of themselves. It is so rewarding to be part of another person's journey and see them accomplish their goals. I also want to be the major point of support for someone that I wish I had and needed when I was younger.
In sessions with me, my only expectation is that you are motivated to make necessary changes and practice ways to manage and cope with your struggles. We are a team in this and I want you to work WITH me. I hope that you will be open to what therapeutic techniques I can offer to you and know that I am open to whatever suggestions you have as well.
I have a great deal of experience working with those struggling with depression/anxiety/bipolar disorder/ADHD/gender identity issues/and substance abuse related issues. I utilize motivational interviewing skills, stress management, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
