Hello, I'm Melissa. Are you looking for a therapist who understands the challenges of raising a family in today's fast paced and stressful world? Do you find it difficult to feel comfortable talking to others about your real feelings because you don't want to be that vulnerable to anyone else? I help individuals struggling with life balance and stress management. I have experience providing individual therapy to clients struggling with current life stressors due to past traumas. These past traumas can hold one back from moving forward in life and finding happiness.
I have experience working with diverse client populations. I have worked with children and adolescents in the Dept. of Child Services system, provided behavior support to individuals with developmental disabilities and have worked inpatient with children with dual diagnoses.
I am a single mother of two amazing children and understand on a personal level the stress of raising children, managing the house and maintaining a career. I enjoy listening to others & helping them find the strengths they did not know they had. Life can be tough at times but having someone to talk through problems with can make the difficult times easier.
