I strive to help you achieve your goals in becoming the best you you can be. However, becoming the best version of yourself is a journey, and for many people, therapy is the first step. Seeking counseling is fundamental in this journey for healing, growth, and self-compassion. I aim to provide a nonjudgmental, safe place for you to explore areas of your life that are no longer serving you. I hope to encourage clients to step into the daylight and let it go.
I work with teen girls and women struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I enjoy helping clients explore relationship issues and examine problems stemming from family of origin. I adopt a very strengths-based approach—you are the expert of your life, not me. I utilize an eclectic mix of therapies in our journey to help you better understand you.
I went to VT for degrees in Psychology and Human Development. Following undergrad, I attended RU for my Masters in Human Development and Counseling. I’m a Christiansburg Native. I live with my husband and our menagerie of pets. I enjoy reading, creating art, exercising, and listening to (and obsessing over all things) Taylor Swift.
