Looking for just the right therapist, especially when you are feeling stressed and vulnerable can be overwhelming. I hope I can make your decision easier by telling you that I am a skills-based psychotherapist since 2006 offering real life tools to help manage symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, panic disorders and depression. I am certified in EMDR and recently earned my Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on resolving trauma that typically gets "stuck" in the body and affects how we think and feel. I work solely through telehealth video and can do EMDR online which is both convenient and private.
I earned both my undergraduate and Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College in 2008 with a focus on Somatic Psychology. I recently earned my PhD in Psychology at Saybrook University. I am also certified as a Heart trauma focused mentor, a member of EMDRIA and a professionally trained EMDR therapist.
Life will always have its challenges---but it does not always have to be struggle. My goal is to help you gain the skills you need to resolve conflicts and work through areas you feel "stuck" so you can spend more time successfully achieving your goals and enjoying the people in your life!
