I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children. As such, I have a wide array of experience in treating many presenting problems. My special areas of interest are mood disorders, trauma, couples therapy, navigating divorce, co-parenting after divorce, healing after abuse, and parenting challenges.
Every individual has a story that lives within the larger stories of our families, friends, culture, and community. My goal as a therapist is to help you organize your story in a way that will help you move forward in your life with confidence and courage. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered.
You deserve a space where your story can be told, heard, and reflected upon. I always tell clients that my job is to work myself out of a job. I'm here to help you sort out your story and acquire the tools needed to feel healthy and whole, and eventually you won't need me anymore. You are the expert of your story.
