I believe that we all experience times in our lives where it is a struggle to adjust and cope to unexpected losses, changes in our family dynamics, role responsibilities, relationships, and other life difficulties. It is my core belief as a therapist that the therapeutic relationship can provide great healing. I work with my clients in a confidential setting to build a safe and accepting environment that promotes client and therapist working together towards common goals for treatment. We work to achieve these goals utilizing therapeutic methods and interventions that allow hope and healing to occur for the client.
I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families. I utilize an integrated therapeutic method that works best for the individual client. The therapeutic methods I practice include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused CBT, family systems, and client centered. I work often with mother's who are experiencing postpartum anxiety/depression.
